Financial Operations Manager

About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant to transition into a commercial finance environment. This role involves managing financial reporting and compliance, including drafting and consolidating financial statements, ensuring tax compliance, and managing relationships with external and internal auditors. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical audit background and experience in retail, FMCG, or manufacturing industries, with a proven ability to conduct group-level audits.

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with up-to-date knowledge of IFRS.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Expertise in local and international financial regulations, compliance audits, risk assessments, financial controls, and regulatory reporting.
• Proven experience in drafting and consolidating financial statements for group companies.
• Practical experience in corporate or group tax compliance.
• Experience managing relationships between external and internal auditors.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and people-management skills.
• Industry experience in Retail, FMCG, or Manufacturing preferred.
