Financial Manager

About the position

Well-established Engineering company based in Lanseria is seeking an experienced Financial Manager / Accountant to join their team.
Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Minimum 4 years' accounting experience.
• Experience on Sage Pastel Partner/Xpress and Sage Pastel Payroll.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Previous staff management experience is advantageous.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.

Duties:

• Full accounting function.
• Cashbook, creditors and debtors.
• General ledger, journals and trial balance.
• Prepare management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• VAT, SARS submissions and statutory compliance.
• Year-end audit preparation and support.
• Job costing and profitability analysis.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Process monthly payroll using Sage Pastel Payroll.
• Supervise the Secretary and Job Costing Administrator.
