Financial Manager

About the position

A well-established company based in Pretoria is seeking an experienced Financial Manager (CA) (SA) 
Minimum Requirements:

• CA(SA) – Chartered Accountant qualification is essential.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Financial Manager or senior finance management position.
• Manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Previous experience working with SYSPRO ERP will be highly advantageous.
• Experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred, with chemical manufacturing experience being an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles and statutory requirements.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, cash-flow management and financial controls.
• Sound knowledge of South African tax and statutory compliance requirements.
• Proven experience managing, mentoring and developing a finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full financial management function of the business.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
• Manage cash flow, cost controls and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Provide commercial insights and financial guidance to support business decisions.
• Develop and maintain effective financial controls and processes.
• Lead, support and develop the finance team.
• Work closely with operational and non-financial stakeholders to drive business performance.
