About the position
Our client within the international logistics space is seeking a Financial Manager to join their team. Candidates must have CIMA, SAIPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification, with completed articles and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar senior finance role. Having previous exposure to the shipping, maritime, freight forwarding, or logistics industry would be advantageous.
As the Financial Manager, you would run the full financial management function of the entity.
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue and profitability.
- Maintain full statutory compliance (SARS, CIPC, IFRS).
- Act as a proactive financial business partner to divisional and group leadership.
- Have advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency.
- Solid knowledge of South African tax legislation & IFRS.
- Has high integrity, is resilient under pressure and detail oriented.
