About the position
A dynamic organization based in the East Rand is looking to employ a Financial Manager with 5 – 10 years’ experience in a similar role
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- B.Com or B.Com Honours in Accounting or Finance
- Completed articles (SAICA / SAIPA or equivalent)
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a financial management role
- Preferably experience within the manufacturing sector
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally
- Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage group reporting requirements and ensure compliance with deadlines
- Internal Controls & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and monitor strong internal control systems
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies
- Manage and coordinate internal and external audits
- Oversee product costing and pricing strategies
- Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction
- Manage foreign exchange transactions and exposure
- Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements
- Oversee and process payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Manage finance department operations and staff where applicable
