Financial Manager

About the position

Well-established company based on the East Rand seeks a Financial Manager to join their team!
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CA(SA), CIMA) are highly advantageous.
• 8–10 years in financial management or accounting, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience in financial reporting, audit management, tax compliance, and IFRS.
• Occasional local and international travel required.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all financial accounting operations.
• Prepare and submit IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Ensure accurate statutory submissions (VAT, PAYE, income tax, etc.).
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Analyze financial performance and recommend actions.
• Manage working capital and cash flow forecasting.
• Coordinate audits and ensure compliance.
• Enforce internal controls and data integrity.
• Support strategic initiatives through financial modelling.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive margin improvements.
• Partner on pricing, inventory, and costing strategies.
• Lead ERP and reporting system improvements.
• Develop and manage the finance team.
