About the position

DESCRIPTION/SYNOPSIS:
A large player in the security industry is seeking a results-driven Financial Manager to take responsibility for the full financial management for one of their large divisions. This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional with a solid track record in managing accounting processes, driving strategic initiatives, and leading finance teams. You will play a key role in ensuring financial compliance, maintaining sound reporting processes, improving cost-efficiencies, and supporting overall business performance. This is a dynamic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a company committed to excellence and growth.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Professional certification in accounting or finance, such as CA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • 5-10 years' financial management experience, preferably in the security industry
  • High proficiency in Pastel and relevant financial systems
  • Strong Team Leadership and Performance Management experience
  • Excellent financial planning, reporting, and communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage full financial operations for the Division
  • Prepare and oversee budgets, forecasts, and monthly reporting
  • Ensure sound cash flow and working capital management
  • Manage fixed assets and capital lease administration
  • Drive improvements in costing and financial modelling
  • Support tender submissions and audit readiness
  • Ensure BEE compliance (Procurement, SED, ED, SD)
  • Monitor and mitigate financial risks
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and financial integrity
  • Develop and coach a high-performing finance team
  • Support the company's strategic and operational objectives
