Financial Manager

About the position

A leading organisation in Rivonia seeks a highly experienced Financial Manager with at least 15 years in financial management and a proven track record of team leadership. The role involves leading a finance team of 12, overseeing daily financial operations (ensuring compliance with regulations, standards, and policies), managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, and providing strategic financial analysis to senior management. The incumbent will also implement and manage financial systems, maintain strong internal controls, drive cost control measures, provide team leadership and mentorship, and oversee payroll transactions. Collaboration with business leaders and external auditors is also a key aspect of this role.

Experience Requirements:

• At least 15 years of experience in financial management, with proven team leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field & Postgraduate Qualification.
• Chartered Accountant (CA), CIMA, or equivalent certification.
• In-depth understanding of financial management principles and practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to drive financial performance and implement financial strategies.
• High level of proficiency with financial software and systems.
• Experience with Proman, SAGE payroll, SAP Ariba, and Coupa (advantageous).
• Experience with Consulting Engineering Firms (highly advantageous).
