About the position
- Compliance with group finance objectives and translating into operational business processes.
- Responsible for performing the full financial review and analysis of quarterly results.
- Presentation of results for feedback, analysis, and recommendations of strategic initiatives tothe Executive Leadership Team.
- Leverage BI team to deliver ongoing support on segmentation/ competitive analysis.
- Identify key performance metrics and implement dashboard monitoring, including correctiveaction improvements.
- Action plans for financial and risk management and ensure strategic alignment.
- Analyse financial performance and provide solutions for improvements and project analysisrequests.
- Interpret financial data, adjust forecasts, align critical drivers and reporting.
- Financial modelling
- Cross functional engagement, preparation, design and influence of the Annual Operating Planand mid-year forecast process.
- Ownership of the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Revenue calculations, cash flow forecasting and CAPEX budgets.
- Ownership of all Revenue authority queries
- Management of the procurement process and team Oversight of the warehouse andoperations process and team Review internal controls.
- Manage a team.
Completed SAIPA or CIMA articles (or equivalent).
- 5 to 7 years' experience in an operational finance role required.
- Manufacturing / CAPEX Equipment/ Import and Export industry experience essential
- Management experience essential
- Experience within a role linking procurement & warehouse operations to central finance requirements essential.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Strong financial modelling skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Business and financial acumen
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Able to analyse statistical information and interpret financial data to produce reports.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Apply analytical and creative thinking.
