About the position
Purpose of the job:
The Finance Manager is responsible for the operational financial management of the assigned company which includes budget planning, cash flow and balance sheet forecasts, reviewing payroll, inventory and fixed assets while ensuring statutory and tax compliance. In addition to managing the finance team and creating and implementing policies and procedures.
Critical experience:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a senior finance role post articles
- Proven track record of mentoring, managing and training employees
- Operational Commercial and Business Awareness,
- Strategical application of knowledge and skills
- Excellent skills in Sage Evolution & MS Office, especially Excel;
- Tax knowledge/audit knowledge/technical skills eg. IFRS
Minimum Education:
- Accounting Degree with Honours or Audit articles or technical training.
- Registered Chartered Accountant / Professional Accountant
