Financial Manager (CPT Hybrid)

About the position

ENVIRONMENT:

A cutting-edge Eyecare Specialist seeks a strategic-thinking Financial Manager who will take charge of the overall financial accounting function in the organisation. The scope of the role will include Financial Reporting, Statutory Accounts, Tax Affairs, Company Secretarial, Legal and Treasury. The successful incumbent will be expected to provide leadership and financial support in an evolving retail organisation while establishing a cohesive, engaged and valued Finance function. You must be CA(SA) qualified and have successfully operated in a quality business for 8+ years post professional qualification with working knowledge of IFRS.

DUTIES:

Management of General Ledger Accounts.

Business Controlling.

Month End Financial Reporting.

Quarterly and Annual Reports.

Statutory Accounts & Tax.

Compliance & Internal Control.

Legal.

Company Secretarial.

Treasury.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications –

• Minimum: CA(SA).

Experience/Skills –

• Must have successfully operated in a quality business for 8+ years post professional qualification.
• Leadership – proven track record of effective management of Finance team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a key influencer.
• Working knowledge of IFRS.

Advantageous –

• SAP and HFM experience.
