FINANCIAL MANAGER: CORPORATE

About the position

Purpose of the Job:

• To provide financial leadership at the Company level and co-ordinate financial, tax and payroll activities at the company's Corporate.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and company policy requirementsJob Requirements:
• CA (SA) or BCom Hons (Accounting) ;
• Good knowledge of Tax and Tax Processes.
• Payroll knowledge;
• At least 8 -10 years financial management experience;
• Microsoft Office proficiency;
• Experience dealing with banker, auditors, tax authorities
• Experience in the mining industry would be an advantage;
• Technical accounting and tax knowledge;
• People Management experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for the company's Corporate financial function;
• Ensure proper internal controls are maintained;
• Treasury and Cash Management;
• Reviewing monthly management accounts;
• Ensuring Tax Compliance for the company
• Corporate;
• Timeous submission of all monthly,periodic and annual tax returns for Corporate;
• Payroll supervision and tax compliance;
• Liaison with auditors and maintaining
• relationships;
• Review annual financial reporting and financial statements for Corporate entities;
• Oversee annual budget and monthly forecast for the companyY Corporate;
• Manage annual salary review and incentive bonus process in liaison with HR.
• Assist the Senior Executive Finance: Corporate with group tax matters as required.
• Continuous improvement of business processes (including participation in system implementation projects)
