Purpose of the job:
To oversee financial planning, reporting, and budgeting in order to maintain the financial health. They also play a crucial role in risk management and cost optimization to support operational efficiency and expansion.
Required Qualifications
- CA(SA) with 10+ years’ finance experience, and at least 5 years at senior level.
- Strong commercial sense and the ability to work side-by-side with operations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to make numbers make sense.
- Experience in cash flow management, audit, reporting, and banking relationships.
- Exposure to logistics environment would be an advantage.

- Financial Control & Reporting
- Strengthening and expanding finance systems so information flows easily, and teams can make quick, smart decisions.
- Working hand-in-hand with commercial and operations teams to create great experiences for customers
- Ensuing the business stays resilient against the usual risks - power, currency fluctuations, compliance, operational challenges etc
- Getting involved in a range of ad-hoc projects - new facilities, expansions, funding, pricing reviews, M&A assessments.
- Compile, deliver, and present clear, easy-to-read management and Board reports.
