Commercially minded and technically strong, you're ready for greater ownership. Complex structures don't intimidate you; you're proactive, curious and able to see what needs attention before being asked. You enjoy improving processes as much as producing accurate numbers.
This is broader than financial control. You'll take ownership of group management accounts, dashboards, month-end reviews, tax compliance, covenant calculations, fixed assets, intercompany balances, audits and budgeting while supporting group consolidations and system improvements. You'll work across a substantial multi-entity structure with SA and international exposure, including foreign currency. You'll enjoy this because you'll take meaningful senior-level work off the Group Financial Manager's desk and build genuine breadth towards future finance leadership.
You'll join a growing, multi-entity renewable energy organisation operating across SA within a technically driven and project-focused industry. The team is young, energetic and highly dedicated, with a strong work ethic balanced by a social and collaborative culture. Their offices are based in Stellenbosch. There is 1 day work from home.
Ideally, you're a CA (SA) with around 2 to 3 years' post-articles experience. Strong CIMA or equivalent registered accounting professionals may also be considered where you bring approximately 5 years' relevant experience. Exposure to management accounts, group reporting or consolidations and foreign currency will stand out. Multi-entity experience is advantageous, although the right proactive, adaptable personality matters just as much.
