Financial Controller

About the position

An exciting opportunity exists for a detail-oriented and driven Financial Controller to join a dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about financial accuracy, compliance, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the fixed asset register
• Prepare and submit SARS returns in line with compliance requirements
• Supervise and support a team of approximately 10 staff members
• Perform and review monthly general ledger reconciliations, including bank and cash accounts
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports
• Oversee and review balance sheet reconciliations

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar Financial Controller or supervisory finance role
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and reconciliations
• Proven leadership and team management ability
• High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills
