Financial Controller

About the position

Hire Resolve is seeking a Financial Controller for a leading diversified retail group in the agricultural, fuel, and manufacturing sectors. Based in Howick, this role is ideal for a finance professional with strong industry experience and proven credit decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monthly reporting on the debtors book
  
  
• Credit follow-up (collections) for both monthly and seasonal accounts
  
  
• Preparation and evaluation of credit applications
  
  
• Liaison with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries
  
  
• Management of credit facility applications
  
  
• Establishment and verification of securities
  
  
• Reconciliation of debtor accounts
  
  
• General office and regional administration
  
  
• Other ad hoc tasks related to the role
  
  

Requirements

• National Diploma in Finance, Credit Management, or a related field
  
  
• Membership of the Institute for Credit Control
  
  
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a financial or credit control role
  
  
• Experience within the agricultural, retail, or manufacturing sectors is essential
  
  
• Strong numeracy skills and proficiency with computerized financial systems
  
  
• Valid driver’s license
