About the position

DBN000178 – Financial Controller – JHB North
 
Purpose of the job:
To run the day-to-day activities of the finance department

Required Qualifications – Essential

  • Chartered Accountant (SAICA)
  • 5 + years Relevant experience
  • Experience in Xero Accounting

Technical Competencies and responsibilities

  • Accounts payable function
  • On a fortnightly basis, creditors will include all contractors, mileage claims and expense claims.
  • Ensure that the monthly operational fee invoices are raised correctly and accurately.
  • Assist the finance manager with the annual audit
  • Reconciliation of the VAT reports and the VAT control account before a VAT return is submitted monthly
  • Ensure the balance sheet is accurate for reporting purposes.
