Financial Assistant / Bookkeeper [REF: 24722]

About the position

Position tasks:

• Capturing and reconciling the bank constantly throughout the day.
• Issuing sales orders and invoices, as well as ensuring data accuracy of Debtors.
• Processing Creditor invoices and reconciliations, as well as validating the pricing of the creditors. Requesting corrections from Creditors
• Order processing, tracking and reporting.
• Updating, maintaining and reconciling various information sheets.
• Loading payments on the bank.
• Submitting order details and documentation on various WhatsApp groups.
• Maintaining a good electronic and paper filing system.
• Assisting Head of Finance and the business Owner with various tasks.
• Secretarial tasks.
• Ad hoc tasks.

Additional tasks:

• Updating business Owner on various financial information.
• Updating business Owner when Head of Finance is on leave.
• Assisting with various other Head of Finance tasks when he is on leave.

Requirements:

• Matric with high marks in mathematics and preferably accounting.
• Financial diploma preferably.
• 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Familiar with and able to operate a MacBook.
