About the position
We are looking for Financial Advisors who are sales driven financial services professionals with a passion for prospecting, advising, and servicing clients focusing on their investments and estates planning needs as well as providing para-planning and Fiduciary planning free of charge to both adviser and client.
The position is commission based and is split 85/15, depending on production can increase to 100/0. There is no restraint of trades, non-solicitation clauses and the client base belongs to the Adviser.
Qualification, Experience and Skills required:
- Diploma in Financial Planning
- Passed and maintained CFP® Board certification.
- 2 years of experience in financial advisory role.
- Written and passed RE5 - Representative Exam.
- Valid driver's licence.
- FSP's licence as a Representative giving advice and providing an intermediary service.
- Experience in investment advisory to clients as a wealth manager / financial advisor
- Strong sales, interpersonal and business development skills, and acumen.
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of new business prospecting activity.
- Ability to grow an investment client book.
- A client book will be considered advantageous but not necessary.
- Needs to be a team player with the ability to function independently
Responsibilities:
- Sales and client relationship: Build and grow investment and your client book through signing on new clients as well as growing current client portfolio.
- Client Assessment & Planning: Conduct thorough reviews of a client's financial history, current assets, liabilities, and goals to develop a comprehensive financial plan.
- Investment Guidance: Provide expert advice and recommendations on investment options, such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, helping clients build portfolios aligned with their risk appetite and timeframes.
- Financial Strategy Design: Create and implement tailored financial strategies covering various areas, including education funding, retirement planning, estate planning, and debt management.
- Product & Market Expertise: Research and explain various financial products and stay informed about new developments in financial markets and relevant legislation.
- Portfolio Monitoring & Adjustment: Regularly monitor clients' investment accounts and financial situations, making necessary adjustments to strategies in response to life or changes in financial circumstances.
- Client Education: Educate clients on investment options, potential risks, and the benefits of different financial products to empower them to make informed decisions.
