We’re on the lookout for a confident, analytical, and solutions-focused individual to support the full financial accounting function. You’ll work closely with both the Financial Manager and Financial Director in a multifaceted role that touches on everything from bookkeeping and tax compliance to audit prep and system maintenance.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Accounting (Coria, NMS, Funding Entities)

Bookkeeping:

  • Maintain and update financial records by recording financial transactions, including purchases, receipts, and payments.
  • Maintenance of various cashbooks.
Accounts Payable and Receivable

  • Create and process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and prepare monthly payments for approval.
  • Issue and track customer invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, and manage the collection process.
  • Reconcile supplier statements.
  • Liaison with debtors and creditors.
  • Loading payment batches onto various banking profiles for release.
  • Prepare monthly payment schedules.
Intercompany Transactions

  • Create and issue monthly intercompany invoices.
  • Reconciliation of intercompany loans and transactions.
Bank Reconciliation

  • Reconcile bank statements with internal accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
General Ledger

  • Assist in maintaining the general ledger by posting journal entries and ensuring proper coding of transactions.
 

Tax Support

  • Provide support in tax-related matters, such as gathering financial data for tax returns and assisting with tax compliance.
  • Prepare VAT calculations and submissions.
Audit Assistance

  • Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed, with the assistance of the rest of the finance team.
Financial Software and Systems

  • Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems and spreadsheets (SAGE X3).
  • Utilize accounting software and financial systems to manage accounting tasks and maintain financial records efficiently.
Compliance

Adhere to accounting principles, financial regulations, and company policies to ensure accurate and compliant financial records.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Perform general administrative duties, such as filing financial documents and maintaining organized records.
SED ED:

Source and submit procurement data.

Accounting (Private Entities)

Payments:

  • Loading of monthly and ad-hoc payments.
What You Bring:

  • A solid foundation in accounting principles and financial regulations

  • Hands-on experience with SAGE X3 (or similar systems)

  • A methodical and accurate approach to recording financial transactions

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • A genuine appreciation for process, structure, and financial integrity
