Detail-focused and organised, you're comfortable taking ownership while keeping multiple entities and deadlines under control. You're proactive, eager to learn and enjoy being part of a collaborative finance team where accuracy matters.
Taking responsibility for the full accounting function across an investment portfolio, you'll review invoicing and debtors, prepare VAT returns and month-end journals, maintain loan schedules, approve payments and support audits, tax calculations and financial statements. You'll also review accounting entries and provide oversight across the team. You'll enjoy gaining broad exposure across a complex multi-entity renewable energy environment rather than being limited to routine processing.
You'll join a growing, multi-entity renewable energy organisation operating across SA within a technically driven and project-focused industry. The team is young, energetic and highly dedicated, with a strong work ethic balanced by a social and collaborative culture. Their offices are based in Stellenbosch. There is 1 day work from home.
A completed BCom/BAcc or similar financial degree, postgraduate qualification and completed articles are essential. You'll need to be registered, or eligible to register, with SAIPA, SAICA, AGA(SA) or CIMA, with around 2 years' post-articles experience. Intermediate Excel and confidence with financial systems are important. Renewable energy or property portfolio industry experience would be advantageous.
