B Com Accounting / Equivalent
Completed articles
4+ year's accounting experience

Overview of position.

• Responsible for all transactions in General Ledger on a daily/weekly/monthly basis meeting deadlines as set by Head of Finance
• To reconcile on a monthly basis of all General Ledger Control Accounts including inter company balances.
• Ensure on monthly basis the validity of system generated transactions.
• Capturing Cash Books daily ensuring correct allocations and the weekly reconciliation of ALL bank accounts.
• Control of Petty Cash.
• Assist Debtors and Creditors Clerk with debtors and Creditors reconciliations ensuring that age analysis are kept clear and free of queries.
• Ensure an intimate working knowledge of Sage Evolution.
• Maintain the Company Fixed Asset register monthly.
• Preparation of all journal entries for monthly management accounts.
• Ensuring BEE requirements are up to date
• Preparation and assistance to external auditors during audit.
• Perform all other tasks assigned to him/her by the Head of Department Finance from time to time.

Salary Bracket
Negotiable depending on experience, qualification(s) and current / previous package
