About the position

We are looking for a Financial Accountant / Bookkeeper in the Manufacturing and FMCG industries, to bring out the numbers behind a brand that creates smiles.
A well-established and growing manufacturing and FMCG business, based in Pretoria East, is looking for a Financial Accountant / Bookkeeper to join its finance team. This company operates in a high-volume production environment, delivering quality products across South Africa.

This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with 2–5 years’ experience who enjoys being hands-on, working close to operations, and taking ownership of the full finance function in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2–5 years’ experience as a Financial Accountant or Bookkeeper
  • Strong understanding of the full finance function
  • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, transport, or high-volume environments (highly advantageous)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines


Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the full financial function
  • Preparation and review of financial reports
  • Managing general ledger accounts and performing reconciliations
  • Processing and reviewing bank statements
  • Overseeing creditors and debtors
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
