Financial Accountant – Centurion

A leading business in the hospitality sector is seeking a Financial Accountant to take ownership of the full finance function. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic environment, perfect for someone who thrives on accuracy, responsibility, and working close to operations.

Minimum Requirements

• BCom degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2–5 years’ experience as a Financial Accountant or Bookkeeper
• Strong understanding of the full finance function
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full financial function
• Prepare and review financial reports
• Maintain general ledger accounts and reconciliations
• Process and review bank statements
• Oversee creditors and debtors
• Handle journals and adjustments
• Assist with month-end and year-end processes
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
