About the position

Are you a BCom-qualified candidate with at least 2 years’ accounting experience who is ready to take responsibility for the full finance function?
We are seeking a motivated finance professional with a solid technical foundation and completed SAICA or SAIPA articles. The role offers hands-on exposure across day-to-day accounting operations and is well suited to someone who enjoys ownership, accuracy, and supporting the business through sound financial reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full finance function
  • Month-end processing, journals, and accruals
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger management
  • Preparing management reports
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • Supporting audits and statutory requirements
  • Assisting with ad hoc finance tasks

Job experience and skills required:
Education

  • BCom degree
  • Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ accounting experience

Skills

  • Strong full-function accounting capability
  • Good technical accounting and reporting skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
