Financial Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join the financial team of one of our valued clients. ?? What You'll Be Responsible For

• Keeping financial records accurate, compliant, and up to date.
• Ensuring the team and wider business unit stick to established financial controls.
• Preparing detailed monthly financial reports and conducting in-depth analysis.
• Supporting the annual Financial Statutory Audit.
• Playing a key role in the annual budgeting process.
• Monitoring cash flow (Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable).
• Assisting the Financial Manager with day-to-day and strategic financial functions.

? What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a professional qualification (CA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• 3-5 years of solid experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using accounting software (MS Business Central would be a big plus).
• A solid grasp of financial regulations (IFRS) and statutory compliance (e.g., VAT).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and excellent time management.
• Fluency in both Afrikaans and English, with great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Someone who can work well independently, but also enjoys being part of a team.
