Financial Accountant

About the position

An exciting opportunity is available for a well-seasoned Financial Accountant to join an established and respected Manufacturing Company operating in the Industrial Components sector.

The suitable candidate will be responsible for the Full Function Accounting duties up to Trial Balance. Based in Benoni, this role requires someone who has a knack for numbers, is dedicated and has sufficient experience in a similar role.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Full accounting function up to Trial Balance
• General ledger management, journal processing, and account reconciliations
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Fixed asset management and depreciation schedules
• Submission of statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, etc.)
• Liaison with external auditors and support during audits
• Assistance with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Requirements:

• BCom Qualification is non-negotiable
• Strong Excel skills are essential
