About the position
Hire Resolve's Client is seeking a Financial Accountant to support the Financial Manager and Senior Accountant within the Manufacturing Industry. This role offers a long-term growth opportunity within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and ensure alignment with purchase orders and goods receipts.
- Monitor aging reports and facilitate timely payments.
- Oversee vendor payments, including account verification and loading.
- Assist in annual external audits by preparing and providing relevant documentation.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
- Maintain and update debtor credit applications and records.
- Provide day-to-day accounting support to the Senior Accountant.
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Completed SAIPA, CIMA, or SAICA articles.
- Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP Business One is advantageous).
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
