Financial Accountant

About the position

AFRIKAANS (first language) speaking candidate required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Completed Bachelors degree in Accounting
• At least 3 to 5 years applicable accounting experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Full accounting function to Trial Balance
• Preparation of month-end valuations and provisions
• Processing of journals
• Monthly evaluation and comparison of reporting per cost/ profit centre vs financial reporting
• Controlling of the effective and accurate reporting per cost/ profit centre
• Comparison and reporting of deviations against budget
• Effective management of month end procedures
• Cashflow management

Assisting the Financial Manager with:

• The annual audit
• Maintaining an audit trail
• Timeous resolving of queries
