Financial Accountant (CA(SA)) – Centurion | FMCG Sector
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Financial Accountant (CA(SA)) to join our fast-growing FMCG company based in Centurion. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong individual who excels in financial reporting, compliance, and analysis, and who thrives in a dynamic, high-performance environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate monthly management accounts and annual financial statements, leading budgeting and forecasting processes, and conducting detailed variance analysis and reporting. You will also play a key role in compiling benchmarking reports to inform strategic decision-making and support business growth.
Additional responsibilities include assisting with audit preparations and liaising with external auditors, managing tax compliance including VAT, PAYE, and other returns, and maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts. You will be expected to perform cost and profitability analyses, track performance metrics, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement across the finance function. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure financial alignment across the business, and strict adherence to SARS and relevant financial regulations will be a key part of the role.
The ideal candidate is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with at least three years of post-articles experience, ideally having completed SAICA articles at a reputable audit firm. Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and compliance standards is essential, along with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.
