Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-driven Financial Accountant (CA)(SA) to join our dynamic team at Head Office. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in financial reporting, compliance, and analysis, who thrives in a fast-paced and growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
Conduct variance analysis and compile detailed management reports
Compile benchmarking reports to support strategic decisions
Assist with audit preparations and liaise with external auditors
Submit VAT, PAYE, and tax reconciliations and returns
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Perform cost analysis, profitability tracking, and track performance metrics
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
Drive process improvements and enhance financial systems
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial alignment
Ensure compliance with SARS and relevant financial regulations
Requirements
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with 3+ years post-articles experience
SAICA articles completed at a reputable audit firm
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and compliance standards
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the organization
Nice-to-Haves:
Previous exposure to the FMCG, Retail, or QSR industries
