We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Financial Accountant to join a prestigious manufacturing and import/export company, which has been a key player in the industry for over 40 years. As the company is expanding operations into the UK market, we are seeking a talented individual to be part of this exciting journey and contribute to continued success.

The Position: We're looking for a skilled Financial Accountant to be office based in Woodstock, Cape Town. The pay range on offer is R50 000.00 to R55 000.00 (Negotiable) CtC Package Per Month. This is not a remote working position and standard working hours from the office in Woodstock, Cape Town will apply.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee financial reporting, analysis, and compliance for the organization
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for strategic decision-making
- Drive financial planning and budgeting processes, working closely with senior management - Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Actively participate in the establishment and enhancement of internal controls

Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA SA) with relevant post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in financial management within a manufacturing and import/export setting
- Familiarity with international accounting standards and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be South African with a valid South African ID
