About the position

Description
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Finance department with financial responsibilities. The key responsibilities for this role include but not limited to:
1. Preparation of Annual Financial Statements and stakeholder reports for review by management;
2. Responsible for consolidation of Subsidiary Accounts;
3. Reviewing JDE security requests;
4. Reviewing Hubble and Management of Change (MOC) requests;
5. Support Internal and Statutory audits;
6. Responsible for the company’s Inventory function;
7. Preparation and reviewing of financial accounts reconciliations;
8. Support JDE Finance projects and JDE integrities analysis.
9. Other adhoc finance projects.

Minimum Requirements

1. Minimum of a Chartered Accountant – CA (SA) qualification;
2. 2. A minimum of 0 – 3 years’ post articles experience in a similar role;
3. 3. Knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards and company tax;
4. 4. Excellent ability to problem solve along with solid analytical skills, understanding of the business process, and systems optimization;
5. 5. Good communication skills including presentation skills;
6. 6. High level of accuracy, analytical skills and attention to detail;
7. 7. Must be a strong team player;
8. 8. Proficient in MS Office Suite, JDE experience would be an advantage;
9. 9. Deadline-driven and able to work under pressure;
10. 10. Must have a valid unendorsed driver's license and own vehicle.
