About the Role
As the Financial Manager (Operational), you will lead the company’s full finance function—overseeing reporting, treasury, tax governance, and risk while partnering directly with engineering teams to drive project profitability and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Financial Oversight: Drive management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability monitoring.
• Treasury & Cash Flow: Manage working capital, liquidity, and operational payment approvals.
• Tax, Compliance & Risk: Oversee SARS submissions, annual audits, IFRS standards, and B-BBEE verification.
• Commercial Support: Partner with operational teams on tender modeling, capex reviews, and procurement.
• Team Leadership: Coach and develop the finance team while optimizing financial processes.

Key Requirements & Profile

• Qualified CA(SA) or equivalent professional finance qualification.
• Proven experience managing an end-to-end finance function (Engineering, Mining, or Industrial sector experience preferred).
• Strong technical expertise in IFRS, tax, cash flow modeling, and financial controls.
• A decisive, solutions-driven leader who thrives on fast decision-making, autonomy, and cross-functional teamwork.
