Finance Manager

About the position

This fast moving sales and distribution business is looking for a dynamic and professionally accredited Finance Manager to join them.

Respnsibilities:

• Generate insightful analyses of business performance and behaviour
• Contribute to the formulation of business strategies and plans
• Provide timeous group financial reports (monthly, quarterly and year-end)
• Manage finance team including debtors and creditors teams
• Manage gross profit margins, cash flows and assit with the annual budgeting activities and monthly forecasting process
• Perform value chain analysis which includes handling price analysis
• Provide suggestions to management for improving the margin analysis
• Perform regular review of sales, sell out rate and inventory with buyers and merchandisers
• Perform review of promotions at regular intervals
• Manage master data, pricing and claims teams and provide data to support Sales
• Assist in driving planning cycles developing budget, forecasting and business plans
• Manage the RFC process

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant
• 3 years'experience in Financial management in the FMCG industry
• Advance Excel
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Experience with an ERP system (i.e. SAP)
