A well-established and innovative services organisation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join its leadership team. Backed by a family office structure, the business is entering an exciting phase of transformation, with a clear vision to expand through strategic acquisitions and establish a decentralised holding company model.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership, playing a key part in shaping financial strategy, enabling data-driven decisions, and supporting long-term growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with growth and acquisition objectives
- Lead the identification, evaluation, and integration of potential acquisitions to enhance market position
- Oversee cash flow management to ensure funding for operational needs, investments, and expansion initiatives
- Drive data-led decision-making by translating analytics into actionable insights for operational teams
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting for internal stakeholders and regulatory purposes
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with expansion and acquisition strategies
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))
- Minimum of 5 years’ post-audit experience in a financial leadership role
- Experience within a decentralised or holding company environment
- Strong understanding of acquisitions, due diligence, and integration processes
- Proven success in managing cash flow and financial risk in a dynamic environment
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Experience with annuity revenue advantageous, with a willingness to learn.
