About the position
Role Overview
An established and fast-paced organisation within the manufacturing/industrial sector is seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Manager to lead and manage the full finance function. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong operational capability, who can provide financial insight, ensure compliance, and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full finance function, including reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Oversee annual financial statements and audit processes
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk
- Drive cost control initiatives and improve financial efficiencies
- Partner with operational teams to support strategic decision-making
- Lead and develop a finance team, ensuring high performance and accountability
- Oversee internal controls, governance, and financial policies
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including auditors and external advisors
Minimum Requirements
- Chartered Accountant - CA(SA) (essential)
- 5-8 years post-articles experience
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and controls
- Experience within manufacturing, production, or industrial environments (advantageous)
- Advanced Excel and financial systems experience
