About the position
A leading mining company is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team in Johannesburg, with regular travel to the mine site near Griekwastad, Northern Cape.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years in a finance role, with at least 2-3 years in a mining environment (highly desirable)
- Proven experience in:
- Financial reporting (IFRS & GAAP)
- Cash flow and treasury management
- Statutory compliance (VAT, Income Tax, Royalty, etc.)
- Preparation of Board packs and handling external audits
- Budgeting and payroll administration
- Supervision of finance teams
- Greenfield project experience (advantageous)
