Main Job Purpose:
To lead and manage the organisation’s financial operations, ensuring the delivery of sound financial planning, compliance, financial risk management, and strategic insights to achieve organisational objectives.
Minimum Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or a related field.
- Registered with a Professional Certification body: CPA, CA or CIMA
Minimum Desired Experience
- At least 7-10 years of experience in financial management, with a proven track record of leadership.
- Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with South African financial regulations and tax laws.

Reporting Structure
List of Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Prepare long-term financial forecasts and scenario planning.
- Monitor financial trends and provide strategic insights to leadership.
- Manage the organisations overall financial risk appetite.
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, periodic financial forecasts and reporting.
- Analyse variances between actual and budgeted figures, providing explanations and corrective actions.
Financial Management
- Oversee financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash flow and credit (debt exposure) management.
- Manage working capital to optimise liquidity.
- Manage Rebates from vendors.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards (e.g., tax laws, financial reporting standards).
- Identify financial risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Reporting
- Oversee financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow management.
- Manage working capital to optimise liquidity.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly operational performance reports for the Managing Director and other Meetings.
- Track key metrics, such as project timelines, service quality, and resource utilisation.
- Provide insights on operational trends and areas for improvement.
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial policies and practices are effectively implemented.
Stakeholder Management:
