Finance Manager

About the position

We are in search of a committed and seasoned Finance Manager to take charge of our finance team. The perfect candidate will possess a robust foundation in finance and accounting. This role requires someone with a proven track record of effective financial management and strategic planning, capable of leading and motivating a team to achieve our organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities:

• Overall team management
• Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
• Presenting financial reports to management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
• Complying with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements 
• Monitoring cash flow and liquidity to ensure the organisations financial stability
• Implementing strategies to optimise cash flow, such as managing accounts receivable and payable
• Assessing short-term and long-term cash needs and developing appropriate strategies

Requirements:

• CA(SA) qualification
• Minimum 3 years post qualification experience
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance or accounting
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite
