About the position
Our client, a petroleum storage and terminal development company, is looking to hire a Finance Manager to join their growing team based in Saldanha Bay, Cape Town. This is forecasted to be a 30 month project-based contract.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 8-12 years' finance experience, with at least 5 years in project finance, construction finance, cost control, or capital projects.
- Experience on EPC, oil and gas, petrochemical, tank farm, terminal, infrastructure, energy, or major industrial projects is highly advantageous.
- Ability to interpret EPC contracts, payment milestones, commercial schedules, change orders, securities, and financial risk provisions.
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, cost reporting, commitments, accruals, variations, and financial close-out.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with ERP, project controls, or cost management systems is preferred.
