About the position
As the Finance Manager, you will:
- Lead and develop a team of Senior Accountants, with a strong focus on leadership and team growth.
- Partner daily with the Regional Head of Finance and provide strategic insights to support decision-making.
- Act as the subject matter expert on IFRS, reporting, controls, and standardised processes.
- Drive process improvements and support the delivery of an efficient Shared Services model aligned with the company's growth plans.
- Oversee month-end close, preparation of management reporting packs, balance sheet reconciliations, and corporate tax submissions.
- Provide financial insight through advanced reporting and PowerBi-driven analytics.
- Support audits, budgets, forecasting, and business partnering with AP and other finance teams.
Preferred experience includes freight forwarding or logistics, shared services, SUN accounting system, and international tax compliance.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Completed Honours Degree in Accountancy plus a relevant professional qualification (CA(SA/ CIMA)).
- Minimum 7 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a multi-site, multi-country environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, multi-currency reporting, and shared services operations.
- Proven team management and leadership experience.
- Advanced Excel skills and exposure to PowerBi.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across all levels.
