Finance Inventory Controller

About the position

Our client, a sole importer and distributor of various items to the fashion/retail industry in Southern Africa is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to join their finance team to oversee and co-ordinate product inventory within the company

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Relevant Finance/Procurement/Inventory qualification is required
• Valid Drivers License with Own Car
• 3yrs experience in stock/inventory control within a similar industry is a must
• Familiar with a WMS System (SAP/Pastel/Syspro)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing the inventory of products within the company
• Ensure stock levels meet business needs without excess, assists with reducing costs and waste
• Work closely with finance and procurement teams to forecast demand and adjust stock levels accordingly
• Inventory management
• Order processing and capturing into the system
• Record keeping of inventory
• Stock/inventory auditing
