Finance Grauduate (Intern)

About the position

Open to all races, must have a current work visa.

The company is seeking a Finance Graduate to join its Johannesburg team. This role is suited to recent graduates passionate about investment banking, private equity, financial analysis, and African capital markets.

The successful candidate will support transaction execution, financial modelling, market research, due diligence, and client engagement across multiple African jurisdictions.

Minimum Requirements

• BCom Finance, BCom Investment Management, BSc Finance, Economics, or related degree
• Strong academic record
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment

Language Requirement (Essential)

Candidates must be fluent in at least one of the following languages:

• Afrikaans
• Portuguese
• Mandarin
• Greek

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct financial and market analysis
• Build and maintain financial models
• Assist with investment memorandums and pitch decks
• Support M&A and capital raising transactions
• Perform research and due diligence on African markets
• Engage with clients and stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions
• Assist senior team members with transaction execution
