Finance Data Capturer

About the position

Due to recent system changes and increased operational demands within the Finance Department, a well established company seeks to appoint a reliable, ethical, and detail-oriented Finance Data Capturer on a fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture, reconcile, and allocate member receipts on Xero.
• Process member transactions accurately and timeously.
• Perform NETCash processing and debit-order runs.
• Support finance reconciliations and data integrity checks.
• Maintain accurate financial data across Xero and CRM systems.
• Assist the finance team with ad-hoc reporting support where required.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification:
  o Matric Certificate

• Certifications (advantageous):
  o Xero Certificate.
  o Excel Certificate.

• Experience: Minimum 10 years' experience in finance data capturing and processing.

• Computer skills:
  o Xero - Advanced.
  o Microsoft Excel - Advanced.
  o CRM system workflow - Intermediate.

• Solid understanding of:
  o Basic accounting principles.
  o Tax and financial reporting fundamentals.

• Competencies:
  o Expert proficiency in Xero and high-volume financial data capturing.
  o Fast and accurate typing with a strong focus on precision.
  o Ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining data integrity.
  o Strong awareness of financial compliance and confidentiality requirements.
