Company and Job Description
Our client, a well-established company within the manufacturing and FMCG sector, is seeking an experienced Finance Professional to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for a commercially minded individual with a solid accounting background and a passion for driving financial excellence within a fast-paced operational environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the finance function, strengthening internal controls, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and success of a reputable organisation within the beverage manufacturing industry.



Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial information.
• Develop, implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial policies.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow processes.
• Monitor financial performance and provide meaningful analysis to management.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax and financial reporting requirements.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and month-end reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiencies.
• Liaise with auditors, financial institutions and other external stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team.

Job Experience and Skills Required

Education

• BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years' finance and accounting experience.
• Previous experience within manufacturing, FMCG, beverage, production or a similar operational environment.
• Previous management or supervisory experience.
• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and internal controls.

Skills

• Advanced ERP system experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
