About the position
Our client is seeking a Temp Finance Clerk to assist at tthe Port Elizabeth branch on a maternity contract
· Obtain all supplier statements at month end,
· Compare to creditors ledger in Pastel
· Account for all reconciling items
· Obtain invoices details from suppliers (ensuring accuracy and completeness)
· Ensure all tax invoices are VAT compliant in terms of of SARS requirements
· Submit to all tax invoices and support to finance for payment
· Finalize creditors reconciliation statement
· Submit to Manager for signoff
· Prepare daily Accrual List of all creditors
· Follow up on all outstanding queries with operations
· Ensure all rental invoices are processed and paid monthly
· Capture and Process invoices onto Pastel (rentals and intercompany)
· Purchase Orders
· Request Quotations and obtain authorisation
· Prepare Purchase Orders for suppliers
Requirements· Grade 12
· Finance Degree / Diploma
· 2 – 3 years’ relevant experience
· Computer literate
· Pastel experience preferred
· Drivers’ license and own transport
