Finance and Procurement Assistant

About the position

Well-established company based in Centurion seeks a Finance and Procurement Assistant to join their team!
Requirements:

• Matric (or equivalent); tertiary qualification in Commerce preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of accounting and procurement principles
• Experience with Xero accounting software
• Advanced Excel and high computer literacy
• Excellent English (spoken and written)

Key Responsibilities:
Finance:

• Process and manage supplier invoices, statements, and payment cycles
• Track and manage purchase order numbers
• Reconcile customer statements, petty cash, and travel allowance accounts
• Assist with preparing proforma invoices

Procurement:

• Process and manage supplier orders
• Reconcile purchase order numbers with open orders
• Reconcile purchase orders with goods receipt notes
