Finance & Accounts Clerk - Debtors | eThekwini Durban
Salary: R16K CTC, Permanent
Purpose of Position:
Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Finance and Accounts Clerk (Debtors) for a permanent position based in eThekwini, Durban, Kwazulu Natal.
Minimum Requirements Qualifications And Skills
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree/Diploma in a finance related field.
- Experience in financial, administrative, and clerical services.
- 2 years minimum experience in similar role.
Debtors (Domestic):
- Issuing month-end statement to the customers
- Mailing invoices to the customers and resolving query if any arising of them
- Closing domestic sales after receiving proof of delivery
- Help marketing in debit notes/ credit notes to clear the query
- Initiating and conducting a fortnightly meeting to discuss overdue receivable with domestic marketing.
- Helping to resolve customer returns/ query related to price etc.
- Enters all domestic receipts from customers and allocates the funds received to individual invoices
Insurance (Credit Risk):
- Maintaining adequate credit risk insurance for all domestic sales
- Liaising with the insurer should there be an event of default by customer or for adding a new customer
- Monthly declaration of the exposure to the insurer and ensuring monthly premium are calculated correctly.
