Hire Resolve's Client is seeking to hire a Finance Accounting Clerk to join their team in Umgeni Business Park, Durban A detail-oriented and experienced Creditors Clerk / Finance Clerk to join a dynamic finance team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full creditors function and general financial administration, including exposure to financial statement preparation. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a flat fee salary structure and a provident fund benefit.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full creditors function, including invoice processing, statement reconciliation, and preparation of payment batches.
• Perform daily financial administrative duties.
• Assist in drafting and compiling financial statements.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording and filing of financial transactions.
• Perform supplier account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Support ad-hoc finance-related tasks as directed by management.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to facilitate timely payment processing

RequirementsEducation

• Minimum: Matric (Grade 12)
• Preferred: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within finance or creditors

Skills & Attributes

• Proficient in spoken and written English
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles
• Proficient with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
• Professional, reliable, and self-driven
